Mumbai, August 14, 2025: Mr. Sajjan Jindal, Chairman of JSW Group, and Mr. Parth Jindal, Managing Director of JSW Cement Ltd., were present today at the bell-ringing ceremony of JSW Cement held at NSE, marking the successful IPO listing of the company on the Indian bourses. Rs36 Billion Initial Public Offering of JSW Cement was subscribed about 7.77 times on the Final day of bidding.

JSW Cement shares today made a good stock market debut, listing at around 4% Premium over its issue price of Rs147.

According to Gaurav Garg, Lemonn Markets Desk, “The stock slipped below its issue price, indicating that the IPO may already be fully valued. While short-term gains appear limited, the company has established itself as one of India’s fastest-growing and most sustainability-focused cement producers. With a strong commitment to green infrastructure, it leads in eco-friendly products such as Portland Slag Cement (PSC) and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS), aligning closely with India’s decarbonization goals. Though long-term growth prospects remain strong, current valuations suggest the IPO is fairly priced.”

The issue of the company had received bids of 1,40,91,39,588 shares against the offered 18,12,94,964 equity shares, at a price band of Rs139-147. Retail Portion and Non-Institutional Investors Portion were subscribed 1.81 times and 10.97 times respectively, whereas Qualified Institutional Buyer Portion was subscribed 15.80 times.
