Mumbai, 3 August, 2026: Computer Age Management Services Limited (CAMS), India’s largest registrar and transfer agent for mutual funds and a SEBI-regulated entity, and a leading provider of platform-based financial infrastructure and services to the BFSI sector, has announced its financial results for the quarter ended 30 th June 2026.
Financial Highlights
· EBITDA grew 18.3% Y-o-Y to ₹183 Cr. despite challenging market conditions, reflecting the resilience of CAMS’ business model and continued operating momentum EBITDA margin expanded by 270 basis points to 46.4% from 43.7% Y-o-Y, driven by operating leverage and disciplined cost management
· Operating revenue grew 11.5% Y-o-Y to ₹395 Cr., reflecting sustained business momentum
· Mutual fund asset-based revenue grew by 11.2 % Y-o-Y
· Profit After Tax (PAT) grew 17.3% Y-o-Y to reach ₹128 Cr. in Q1 FY’27, leading to an improvement in PAT margin to 31.1%, reflecting healthy profitability
· Revenue diversification on track as non-MF businesses grew 28.4% Y-o-Y, while one non-MF business crossed the 5% revenue contribution mark for the first time
Mutual Funds
· CAMS AuM grew 14.8% Y-o-Y to a record ₹56 Lakh Cr. in Q1 FY'27, while sustaining its dominant market position with a 67.2% share
· Equity AuM grew 17.6% Y-o-Y, outperforming industry growth of 16.4%, to reach a record ₹31.4 Lakh Cr. Equity net sales at ₹86,026 Cr. grew by 43% Y-o-Y, ahead of industry growth of 39% • Live SIP accounts grew 18.8% Y-o-Y to 6.72 Cr., significantly ahead of industry growth of 14.4%. Market share improved to 63.9% from 61.5% a year ago
· SIP collections grew 20.7% Y-o-Y to ₹59,681 Cr. for the quarter, outperforming industry collection growth of 16%
· CAMS’s unique investor base expanded 16.8% Y-o-Y to over 4.85 Cr., outpacing industry growth of 12.1%
· The Specialized Investment Fund (SIF) segment continues to gain traction. CAMS has launched 11 SIFs to date, collectively crossing ₹10,000 Cr. in AuM. With over 8,000 distributors and 45,000 investors participating in the segment, growth momentum is expected to strengthen further in the coming months
· GIFT City Retail Funds crossed 10,000 investors, with monthly gross sales of ₹200 Cr. and AuM of ₹750 Cr.
· AlphaGrep Mutual Fund went live with its maiden NFO on July 6, 2026. ASK, Carnelian, Oaklane and Neo are expected to go live over the next three months, taking CAMS' client base to 31 AMCs
Beyond Mutual Funds
· Non-MF Revenue grew 28.4% Y-o-Y in Q1FY’27, highlighting the success of CAMS’s diversification strategy beyond core MF. Share of non-MF revenue stood at 14.9%
· CAMSPay’s revenue grew 69.1% Y-o-Y, with strong momentum in new client signups with 17 new deals in Q1FY’27
· CAMS Alternatives achieved a strong quarter, with revenue up 25.6% Y-o-Y in Q1FY’27. With AuM crossing 3.2 Lakh Cr., CAMS reinforced its dominance in the Alternatives market, winning 50 new mandates, including 23 marquee new logos
· CAMS KRA recorded a marginal 2.6% Y-o-Y decline in revenue in Q1 FY’27, despite a market wide recommended rate revision of ~29% and subdued market activity. It also received in-principle approval as an IFSCA-authorised KRA in GIFT City on July 1, 2026, unlocking a significant growth opportunity
· CAMSRep’s Bima Central recorded strong user growth in Q1 FY’27, with its unique user base increasing by 45% and 8.3 Lakh users added during the quarter
· ConsenPro, a consent lifecycle management platform jointly developed by CAMS and Think360, is being shaped to address specific industry-wide consent management challenges, with early wins from BFSI and enterprise clients as organizations navigate evolving DPDPA compliance requirements
Re-arch And AI
· Key platforms on track: Fundsnet planned for Sep’26 go-live and complete deprecation of old platform by Q4 FY’26; CAMSLens 2.0, e-KYC, revamped KRA and Data Warehouse progressing as planned
· AI-led transformation gaining traction: 10%+ physical financial transactions via AI at the maker layer; 4/8 extraction types live
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Anuj Kumar, Managing Director said, “Q1 FY’27 marked another strong quarter for CAMS, as we delivered double-digit revenue growth, sustained industry leading EBITDA margins of 46.4% and robust profit expansion despite a challenging market environment. Our performance reflects the resilience of our business model, continued operating discipline and the benefits of scale and productivity improvements across the organisation.
This quarter was also a significant milestone in our diversification journey. Non-mutual fund businesses grew 28.4% year-on-year and now contribute 14.9% of revenue, with one non-MF business crossing the 5% revenue contribution mark for the first time, reinforcing the success of our strategy to build multiple growth engines alongside our core mutual fund franchise.
Within mutual funds, we continued to strengthen our leadership position, with CAMS assets under management crossing ₹56 Lakh Cr. and outperforming the industry across key metrics - equity AuM, net sales, SIPs and investor growth. The SIF ecosystem is scaling rapidly, with 11 live SIFs on the CAMS platform, collectively crossing ₹10,000 Cr. in AuM, reflecting growing adoption of the segment. GIFT City Retail Funds also crossed 10,000 investors during the quarter, marking another important milestone in the expansion of our investment platform offerings.
Beyond mutual funds, CAMSPay and CAMS Alternatives delivered another strong quarter, driven by new client acquisitions and expanding volumes. CAMSRep continued to see increased adoption of Bima Central platform, while CAMS KRA secured in-principle approval as an IFSCA-authorised KRA in GIFT City, opening a new avenue for growth. We are also seeing encouraging traction for ConsenPro, our consent lifecycle management platform, as organisations prepare for evolving data privacy and compliance requirements. Alongside strong business performance, our multi-year technology modernisation programme continues to make good progress.
