Mumbai, July 14, 2025: smallcase today announced the launch of its Execution Only Platform (EOP) for direct mutual fund investments. The platform will allow investors to seamlessly, and efficiently invest in Direct Plans of mutual funds.
This makes smallcase one of the few platforms in the industry to operationalize an Execution Only Platform for mutual fund investments, enabling users to invest directly through a fully compliant and transparent infrastructure. Introduced by SEBI in January 2023, the EOP framework allows platforms to offer direct mutual fund services without bundling them with advisory or brokerage functions.
On the occasion Anugrah Shrivastava, Founder, smallcase said, "At smallcase, we’ve always been committed to simplifying investing for Indian investors. With the EOP launch, we’re not only offering direct mutual fund access, but also setting new benchmarks for speed, transparency, and investor autonomy.”
A key differentiator of smallcase’s Execution-Only Platform (EOP) is its deep integration with 35+ AMCs and leading RTAs like CAMS, KFin, and MFU. This infrastructure ensures faster, accurate, and transparent mutual fund transactions—helping investors capture the latest NAV and access real-time portfolio data. The platform supports easy import and management of existing mutual fund holdings with no lock-in or maintenance fees, owing to its SOA-based and non-demat structure.
“The next step is the launch of mutual fund model portfolios, where we’ll bring the same research-backed approach that has defined smallcase’s equity investing experience to mutual funds. Our vision is to help investors take a portfolio-approach towards investing in mutual funds for the long-term.”, added Anugrah Shrivastava.
