NPCI launches 2 Agentic AI platforms

Mumbai, 9 September, 2026: National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) today announced the launch of two agentic AI platforms, AiNxt and Agentic Orchestration & Messaging (AtOM) at Bharat AI Zone at Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026. These platforms extend Agentic AI capabilities across enterprise operations and UPI-related processes, streamlining organisation workflows, improving productivity and accelerating innovation.
AiNxt: Enterprise-grade Agentic AI Platform
AiNxt is an enterprise-grade, agentic AI platform built to bring secure, governed, and trusted intelligence for organisations and individuals. Designed for flexibility, scalability, and innovation, AiNxt suite provides a unified intelligence platform that helps organisations and individuals boost productivity, improve performance, and accelerate innovation at scale. With AiNxt, users can create intelligent agents in minutes, leverage Bring Your Own Models (BYOM) capabilities and build custom AI solutions tailored to unique business and productivity requirements. It is open source, empowering organisations and individuals to access, use, modify, and extend the platform freely while maintaining complete model flexibility.

AtOM is an AI-powered agentic orchestration platform that seamlessly manages complex integration and change-management processes across design, development, partner onboarding and certification across heterogenous ecosystems such as UPI through a single auditable workflow.
AtOM will enable faster rollout of UPI feature changes across banks and PSPs by reducing manual effort, streamlining testing and certification, and improving coordination among ecosystem partners. It will also strengthen compliance and audit readiness through machine-readable, digitally signed interactions. Built using JSON-RPC 2.0, the platform architecture is extensible and can be adapted for change management, partner collaboration, readiness tracking, and certification processes across other NPCI products and payment systems in the future.
