3 Accused Jailed For 3 Years In Loan Fraud Case


The private company M/s. Jemish Textile Pvt. Ltd has been convicted and imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000.

Mumbai, 24 December 2025: The CBI Court Ahmedabad, on 23.12.2025, has convicted three accused persons, namely, Ankush Madhubhai Nakrani, Prop. of M/s. A-One International; Ashokbhai Manjibhai Katharotiya and Himmat Nagjibhai Vaddoriya, both Directors of M/s. Jemish Textiles Pvt. Ltd., (all private persons) and sentenced them to Three Years imprisonment with fine of Rs. 50,000 each in a loan fraud case, as per a press release issued by the CBI today. The private company M/s. Jemish Textile Pvt. Ltd has been convicted and imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000.

The CBI Court Ahmedabad, on 23.12.2025, has convicted three accused persons, namely, Ankush Madhubhai Nakrani, Prop. of M/s. A-One International; Ashokbhai Manjibhai Katharotiya and Himmat Nagjibhai Vaddoriya, both Directors of M/s. Jemish Textiles Pvt. Ltd., (all private persons) and sentenced them to Three Years  imprisonment with fine of  Rs. 50,000 each in a loan fraud case. The private company M/s. Jemish Textile Pvt. Ltd has been convicted and imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered the instant case on 20.11.2013. It was alleged that the accused Ankush M. Nakrani, Prop. of M/s. A-One International had submitted forged bill of entry and other import related documents showing import of Textile Machinery by M/s. A-One International and applied for a loan of about Rs. Two Crore from SIDBI, Surat under the Technology Upgradation Scheme (TUF) and got the loan sanctioned.

Investigation had established that Ankush Madhubhai Nakrani, Prop. of M/s. A-One International in connivance with Ashokbhai Manjibhai Katharotiya and Himmat Nagjibhai Vaddoriya, both Directors of M/s. Jemish Textiles Pvt. Ltd., had showed the machineries imported by the later and availed the loan and thus cheated the bank and diverted the said funds and caused a wrongful loss to the tune of Rs.63,12,474 to SIDBI, Surat and corresponding gain to themselves. Investigation established that the accused Ankush Madhubhai Nakrani forged the bill of entry and other import-related documents and availed the loan without importing any such machineries.

After completion of Investigation, CBI filed charge-sheet on 31.12.2014 against Ankush Madhubhai Nakrani; M/s. Jemish Textile Pvt. Ltd.; Ashokbhai Manjibhai Katharotiya and Himmat Nagjibhai Vaddoriya.

The Hon’ble Court, after the trial, convicted and sentenced the accused persons accordingly.
