Officers arrested in two Separate Cases of Bribery

Mumbai, October 5, 2025: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Auditor/Personnel of Integrated Financial Advisor (IFA), Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), Gandhinagar (Gujarat) and Chief Office Superintendent (O.S.), Divisional Railway Hospital, Hingoli Gate, Nanded, in two separate cases of bribery, as per a press release issued by the CBI.
In the first case, it was alleged by the complainant (Proprietor of a private company) that the accused Auditor/Personnel of Integrated Financial Advisor (IFA), Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), Gandhinagar (Gujarat) demanded Rs. 4 Lakh (2% of CCTV Air Force, Pune base amount of the Bid value of Rs.2.5 Crore) of undue advantage to clear the file to issue Supply Order.
CBI laid a trap on 30.09.25 and caught the accused Auditor/Personnel of Integrated Financial Advisor (IFA), Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), Gandhinagar (Gujarat) while demanding and accepting the bribe of Rs. 3.5 lakh.
The accused was arrested and produced before Spl. Judge, Pune after taking the transit remand from Spl Judge, Ahmedabad and was remanded to Police Custody till 04.10.2025.
