Mahindra Group industrialist Shri Anand Mahindra shared that his first meeting on investing in Gujarat was held in this very room with then Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said he was impressed by Shri Modi’s vision and foresight. He expressed his happiness at meeting Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Bhai Patel and discussing future investment plans in Gujarat. Fruitful discussions were held with the Mahindra Group on opportunities in the EV (Electric Vehicles) and GIFT City sectors, along with new avenues for investment, collaboration and development, further strengthening Gujarat’s position as a leading investment destination.

The meeting also included discussions on inaugurating the copper recycling plant in December. Company to Develop the World’s Largest Steel Plant with a Capacity of 25 Million Tonnes in Gujarat: Shri Amit Harlalka

AMNS CEO Shri Amit Harlalka stated that a fruitful meeting was held with the Chief Minister regarding AMNS India’s ambitious investment plans in Gujarat. The company is moving towards completing an investment of Rs. 80,000 crore by June, while also planning an additional investment of Rs. 10,000 crore at Hazira, primarily in the renewable energy and battery storage sectors. The company also shared its vision of developing the world’s largest steel plant with a capacity of 25 million tonnes in Gujarat.
