Mumbai, July 29, 2025: Bandhan Bank today announced the opening of its new branch in
Pandharpur, Maharashtra. The branch was inaugurated by Mr. Mahesh Rokade - Chief Officer,
Pandharpur Nagar Parishad along with Mr. Partha Pratim Sengupta, MD & CEO, Bandhan Bank in
the esteemed presence of the guest of honour Mr. Sachin Langute, Sub Divisional Magistrate,
Solapur.

The expansion of the branch network reflects the Bank’s strategic focus on diversification and
strengthening its national presence. The launch of new branch in Pandharpur, a prominent
pilgrimage town, enables the Bank to better serve the diverse financial needs of local residents,
businesses, and devotees visiting the temple. This initiative reflects the Bank’s broader mission to
deliver modern and customer-centric solutions for its customers. With this launch, the Bank now
operates a robust network of 350 banking outlets in Maharashtra and over 6,350 banking outlets
across India.
In addition to the inauguration of the new branch, the Bank, as part of its Corporate Social
Responsibility initiative, installed solar-powered streetlights around the Pandharpur Temple to
support sustainable infrastructure in the temple town. This initiative aims to enhance public safety,
promote sustainable energy use, and support the local community’s infrastructure. The Bank
formally handed over the gift deed for the solar streetlights to the municipal authorities during the
inauguration event, reinforcing its dedication to meaningful and long-term community engagement.
