Mumbai, 10 August, 2026: Areion Assets Management Private Limited (AAMPL), the investment management arm of the Areion Group, today announced the successful first close of Areion Growth Fund - GIFT City, its Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) under the IFSCA (International Financial Services Centres Authority) Regulations, 2025. Backed by strong interest from ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices globally, the fund received commitments worth USD 30 million of the targeted corpus of USD 60 million (USD 20 million with Green shoe option of USD 40 million).

Launched in the end of June 2026, Areion Growth Fund - GIFT City has a five-year tenure, with an option to extend it by up to two years. The fund is expected to achieve its final closure by Q3 2026-27.
The fund will target various securities in India, including special situation opportunities across India's entire credit spectrum, participation in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC)-led resolutions, one-time settlements, and strategic exits to operating companies.
