SIP Assets Constitute 21.2% Of MF Industry's AUM

Mumbai, August 10, 2026: Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) has today released MF industry’s Monthly Data for July 2026.
Highlights AMFI Mutual Fund Industry Monthly Data July 2026
- Mutual Fund Industry’s Net AUM stands at Rs 85,75,656.52 crores for the month of July 2026. Net AUM for the month of June 2026 was Rs 82,22,480.04 crores
- The AAUM for the month of July 2026 is Rs 86,33,798.38 crores
- Mutual Fund Folios are at 28,08,65,000 crores as of July 2026 with 22.66 lakh net folios being added during the month, up 0.8% from 27.86 crore in June.
- Retail MF AUM (Equity + Hybrid + Solution Oriented Schemes) stood at Rs 50,68,667 crores for the month of July 2026 as against Rs 49,41,096 crores in June 2026
- Retail Folios (Equity + Hybrid + Solution Oriented Schemes) are at 21,39,96,603 for July 2026 and 21,22,59,046 for June 2026
- 65th month of positive equity inflows, starting from March 2021, amounting to Rs 24,697 crore
- SIP assets stood at Rs 18,19,541.56 crores in July 2026, rose by 2.8% constituting ~21.2% of the industry's AUM
- SIP contribution for July 2026 stood at Rs 31,960.66
- The number of Contributing SIP accounts stood at in 10,62,74,060 in July 2026
- A total of 25 schemes were launched in the month of July 2026, raising a total of Rs 2022 crores
SIF data
- SIF assets stood at Rs 23,177 crore in July 2026, marking a 29.8% on-month rise
- The category recorded positive inflows of Rs 4,922 crores during the month driven by hybrid investment strategy and equity-oriented investment strategy.

The Indian MF industry's AUM grew 4.3% on-month to reach Rs 85.76 lakh crore in July. The increase was largely driven by higher market value and sustained buying by DIIs. Equity funds recorded Rs24,697 crore in net inflows—marking the 65th consecutive month of positive flows.
The industry’s growth momentum was further bolstered by strong inflows through SIPs, which totalled Rs 31,961 crore in July. The number of contributing SIP accounts stood at 9.90 crore, reflecting the growing confidence in MFs as a disciplined investment avenue.
