Mumbai, April 18, 2025: In North Mumbai, more than 40,000 citizens have availed the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Scheme, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Union Minister Piyush Goyal, who has launched special outreach initiatives to ensure the scheme reaches every eligible beneficiary in the region.

Registrations for Ayushman Bharat are ongoing daily in North Mumbai, and the initiative continues to gain momentum. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement of the scheme, targeted efforts have been made to ensure that the underprivileged population in areas like Dahisar, Borivali, Kandivali, and Malad—home to people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds—can access quality healthcare without financial burden.

Minister Piyush Goyal emphasized that no one should lose their life due to lack of treatment. He urged all eligible citizens to avail the benefits of Ayushman Bharat and safeguard their health.

In Kandivali West, at the Lok Kalyan Office near Balasinor, 56, SV Road, citizens can walk in between 9 AM and 6:30 PM to get their Ayushman Bharat cards and other scheme-related cards issued free of cost. BJP workers from North Mumbai are working tirelessly to spread awareness and help people enroll, ensuring that the scheme reaches every corner of the constituency.

Minister Goyal reiterated, “If we want to make North Mumbai truly developed, improving public health is essential.”

The Ayushman Bharat Scheme covers 1,356 types of diseases, including treatment for severe and chronic conditions. All expenses for these treatments are fully covered by the government.
