Mumbai Hosted First Regional Round

Mumbai, July 20, 2026: The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), successfully launched the National Financial Literacy Quiz (NFLQ) 2026 with the first regional round held at KC College (HSNC University), Mumbai, on July 18–19, 2026.
The Finance Department of Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management, Mumbai, won the first prize in the Postgraduate Category at the National Financial Literacy Quiz (NFLQ) 2026
The event witnessed participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students across the Western Region, following a nationwide qualifying round that attracted over 4 lakh students. During the event, NISM also launched the nationwide NISM Reel Contest to promote financial awareness through creative digital storytelling.
In the regional finals, the Department of Commerce, Kishinchand Chellaram College secured the first prize in the Undergraduate category, while the Department of Finance, Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management won the first prize in the Postgraduate category.
