Amit Shah Will Inaugurate UCBs’ Conference In Nashik

Mumbai, January 26, 2024: Maharashtra Rajya Nagari Sahakari Banks’ Parishad 2023-24 will be organised at Nashik on 27 & 28 January, 2024. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the two-day conference, which will witness participation of who’s who of the cooperative banking and cooperative sector. A number of ministers from the union and state government will be participating in this conference, being organized by the Nashik District Urban Cooperative Banks Association (NUBA), in collaboration with Maharashtra UCBs Federation (MUCBF) and district UCBs associations, at the Dadasaheb Gaikwad Sabhagruha in Nashik.

 

According to the organiser’s estimate, there is likelihood of participation of around 3,000 representatives from 350 UCBs.

 

Union minister of state for finance Dr Bhagwat Karad, MoS for health, family welfare & Adivasi portfolio Dr Bharti Pawar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Maharashtra Coop minister Dilip Valse Patil, minister Dada Bhuse, and Suresh Prabhu, Chairman, New Draft Policy (Coop) will be the star speakers in the event. 

Ajay Bramhecha, Chairman, MUCBF; Vidhyadhar Anaskar, president, Maharashtra SCB; Anil Kavde, IAS, Ayukt Coop, Maharashtra; Vishwas Jaidev Thakur, Chairman, NUBA; Jyotindra Mehta, President, NAFCUB; Dilip Sanghani, President, NCUI; Gautam Thakur, Chairman, Saraswat Coop Bank, Milind Kale, Chairman, Cosmos Co-operative Bank will guide the delegates with their insights. 

Discussions during the different sessions will be focused on the topics like cyber security, umbrella organization, technology adoption, business growth, the amended banking regulation act, etc.
